On the other hand, if it lets too much heat through (beyond the maximum value of class F), it will be classified as G.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This methodology represents a revolution for several reasons:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>It is independent of the material used<\/strong>, since it evaluates the actual performance, not the brand or type of insulation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>It is applicable to any geometry<\/strong>, such as piping, flat surfaces, special components and any other shapes found in complex industrial plants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>It covers a wide temperature range<\/strong>, from -30\u00b0C to +650\u00b0C.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>It is replicable and comparable<\/strong>, so any company can get a consistent and comparable assessment with that of other operators or plants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For companies, this is a clear opportunity: <strong>to know exactly where, how much and why they are losing energy<\/strong>, in order to take targeted action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But how does the EN 17956:2024 standard apply in practice?
